DocLink 3.2 Shines at September’s DocLink Advanced Administrator Training

Last week, 18 DocLink power users attended our DocLink Advanced Administrator Training at Brandman University in Irvine, CA to get a better understanding of their DocLink system. The four days of lecture, real-life examples, and hands-on labs were led by Customer Support Manager Cathy Champlin and Senior Consultant John Claiborne. Jeramy Talbott, Associate Enterprise Application Administrator at Welk Hospitality Management said, “The use of the presentations in conjunction with hands-on examples in a VM is great!”

This was the first training session to showcase everything in DocLink 3.2, which released August of this year. DocLink 3.2 includes enhancements for configuring workflows and monitoring DocLink services, making it easier and simpler for administrators to manage. Both new and seasoned users benefited from seeing the latest and greatest in the DocLink system.

Day One covered the fundamentals of scan requirements and system settings. The rest of the day covered auditing, stamps and notes, security, and document types and properties. After class, several customers enjoyed a Happy Hour outing where they were able to spend time with Customer Care Manager Lori Corbino and the DocLink trainers.

Day Two delved into the most popular DocLink module – the Smart Form Toolkit. They spent half the day going over document creation, processing Smart Forms, importing/exporting, and working with attachments.  The second half of the day covered workflow, alerts, and email notifications.

Days Three and Four covered an array of DocLink features such as document automation, capture, output, routing, indexing, and much more. Training ended with troubleshooting and maintenance as well as some one-on-one time with our trainers.

Darth Cline, Network Administrator at Barkman Honey, said, “Enjoyed the class! Have a much better understanding of the extensiveness of the software.” The goal for Advanced Administrator Training is to empower our customers with the skillset and understanding of our robust software, and we’re confident that this was achieved last week.

If you’re a customer and want to expand your DocLink knowledge, be sure to join us for our next Advanced Administrator Training on November 7 – 10 in Atlanta, GA. We host at least one every quarter. Click here for more information.
