Meet Sales Director Tiffany Campbell – Part I
Altec has been growing alongside the document management industry, and so it is with great pleasure and excitement that we introduce to you Tiffany Campbell—our Sales Director for the Northeast region and Arizona! Positive and upbeat, Tiffany brings some serious skills to Altec’s Sales team. Here’s what she had to say about the new position, her nearly two decades of industry experience and her quirks like waking up at 4am to watch TV each morning.
Tiffany Campbell joined Altec in January 2015 as the Sales Director for the Northeast region and Arizona. Equipped with 15 years of Microsoft and Sage channel experience and well-deserved awards recognizing top performance, Tiffany brings valuable industry knowledge to the Altec sales team. Her extensive personal network and expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems distinguish Tiffany as an acute leader positioned to add to the success of her sales territory. A graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, she currently resides in Phoenix, AZ where she and her two children enjoy athletic activities.
How would you describe your role at Altec?
I’m the Sales Director for the Northeast as well as Arizona, so it’s an interesting combination that only makes sense because I live in Arizona. In my role, I’ve been tasked with developing and growing the relationship with our partners in the Northeast and Arizona. Most of my duties on a daily basis involve calling, meeting, educating and assisting my partners with any prospects or customers they have that are interested in our products. I want to reinforce with them that I’m an extension of their organization. As their Altec rep, I’m here to assist in any way, shape or form when it comes to helping their clients go paperless.
What drew you to Altec?
Basically, I have been in the Microsoft and Sage channels for the past 15 years. At trade shows, I would see Altec reps there. I started talking with several of the sales directors and other employees and found that I really liked the people there. I also like the story Altec has—the whole concept of going green and becoming paperless—and I like where the product is headed but I was especially attracted to Altec because of the employees that work here.
Is there anything that has surprised you—something about our software, company, customers or partners?
As I said, I have already been exposed to Altec, and the company has such a large presence within the Microsoft and Sage channels that I thought it was a much larger organization. It was nice how during my first week here, I discovered that Altec has fewer employees than I thought. It’s great to come to a company with such a large presence accomplished by a smaller group of people who work really hard. So yes, I was surprised to see that a company of this size is really making an impact in the market with the potential to grow even more.
What excites you most about working at Altec?
I look forward to adding to the success of the Northeast territory and Arizona by developing the channel and helping partners out by using existing connections I already have from working in the channel for several years. That makes this an easy transition for me. The challenging part is completely learning the product—although, I’m getting there! But in regards to how Altec sells, I’ve been doing that for quite a long time so it’s easy for me to pick up this product and start running with it.
