Business Development Coordinator (Laguna Hills, CA)
Altec is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional relationship-building skills for its Business Development Coordinator role on our sales team for Altec’s proprietary document management software, DocLink. This opportunity is a full-time, in-office position located at our corporate headquarters in Laguna Hills, California.
- Plan, organize and maintain calendar for the DocLink Sales team
- Provide sales background information and review calendar with Sales Engineers
- Act as first line of contact for all “Hot” leads and track all activities using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Schedule discovery calls as needed
- Identify areas of improvement, create and exercise strategies to improve prospect relations
- Develop relationships with new partners and maintain relationships with existing partners
- Represent Altec at trade shows (post-COVID travel restrictions)
- Minimum 8 hours per week placing phone calls (40 calls per day/200 calls per week)
- Attain or exceed at defined sales and metric driven quotas
- Become proficient in our DocLink product within 4-6 months
- Proficiency using Microsoft: Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM applications
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude who is deadline and results-oriented
- Strong oral and communication skills
- Dynamic, persuasive sales approach
- This position may require some local travel (post-COVID restrictions)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Communications or similar concentration
- 1-2 years relevant work experience
