AP Automation and Workflow Were Hot Topics at Sage Summit Atlanta Last Week!

May is a great time to visit Atlanta (before the humidity sets in!) and our DocLink team had a great time at Sage Summit last week where Southern hospitality was at its finest!

The event kicked off with a PACKED welcome reception.  Live music engulfed the hall and the whiskey tasting definitely made learning about technology and bettering business much more enjoyable.  We fielded an abundance of questions and started off the event having great interactions with other attendees.

The Altec booth was extremely busy – we were hosting DocLink demos from the beginning to the end of the conference.  Streamlining workflow was the hot topic and we fielded lots of questions and inquiries at our booth.

Our session on Tuesday was also heavily attended by a mix of partners, customers and prospects.  With over 70 in attendance, Altec Sales Director Patrick Nguyen started the session by asking attendees if they still received invoices by mail…and easily half the room raised their hands.  Patrick then proceeded to present “Document Management for AP and Beyond” covering how to get rid of paper and increase visibility.  Attendees were definitely attentive and asked many solid questions related to automating AP processes.

In addition to presentations and panels by the Sage team, the Altec group also found the keynotes to be both interesting and inspiring.  On Tuesday author, writer, speaker and self-proclaimed digital anthropologist Brian Solis covered the relationship between the evolution of technology and its impact on business and society.  He also detailed the role we each play in it.  And on Wednesday Sage hosted a fun and engaging improv activity during the keynote focused on how to take negative situations and address them with confidence and in a positive manner.

As always we left the Sage Summit event excited about the people we met.  We look forward to continuing engagement with attendees as they learn more about DocLink and how it can help solve their business challenges!
