doc-link™ 2.7 Minimum System Requirements 
The following is a summary of the minimum recommended hardware and software requirements for the various doc-link components. doc-link version 2.7 can run on hardware below the outline suggested below, but is not supported by Altec.
Application server (COM+ Components)
Both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003 SP1 and higher
2 GHz dual core or dual processor minimum
4 GB RAM *
.Net Framework v 3.5 SP1
User Account Controls (UAC) must be turned off during the installation (Windows Server 2008)
*Note: If application server components, database, services and remote/web server components are installed on the same server the following is required:
Database Server
Both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003 SP1 and higher
SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2005. Refer to SQL Server documentation for minimum requirements. SQL should be configured to use both SQL Server and Windows authentication and SQL compatibility level set to SQL 2005 and higher.*
2 GHz dual core or dual processor minimum
4 GB RAM **
Hard drive space requirements for the database vary depending on the number of documents you are storing and where you plan to store your documents. If you plan to store your documents in the file system, you will not require space for documents in the database
User Account Controls (UAC) must be turned off during the installation (Windows Server 2008)
*Note: SQL Server Express Edition is NOT supported with doc-link.

Both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 SP1 or higher and Windows 7; Windows Vista or Windows XP Pro

512 MB RAM above operating system requirements *
200 MB hard disk space to run the client
Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher (Internet Explorer 8 required for document creation)
Dual monitor setup recommended for client installations designated for side-by-side integrations.

doc-link users currently need to have a domain account with at least Local Power User rights and sufficient privileges to download and install the doc-link Application Launcher.
User Account Controls (UAC) must be turned off during the installation (Windows 7, Vista, Server 2008)
* Note: 4 GB RAM recommended on Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

- 19” Monitor (recommended)
