OSCAR W. LARSON SELECTS DOC-LINK WITH OUTPUT MANAGER FOR THEIR
GREAT PLAINS
ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE TO STREAMLINE ACCOUNTS PAYABLES
AND SALES ORDER PROCESSING

Larson has chosen doc-link integrated document management to automate their accounts payable and sales order processing departments. Oscar W. In accounts payables, doc-link with Output Manager eliminates the need for photocopies and its related expenses, as well as cuts the cost of transportation and postage of documents. With doc-link 's Event Manager, email notification is provided to any of Oscar W. Larson's forty remote invoice approvers. Event Manager advises the approvers when critical and time sensitive documents are in their workflow queue awaiting approval. With the Event Manager module the time spent checking and searching for approved invoices is eliminated, while time management at each workstation is greatly enhanced. Oscar W. Larson also chose the Fax-link module with doc-link , which enables inbound faxes to be distributed to files based on the originating fax number for faster processing. This module significantly reduces the time consumed with the manual processing of faxes.

The Sales Order Processing module provides customer specific documentation on the desktop for the viewing and processing of orders. Documentation can also be routed via workflow to invoice approvers if required. The sales order processing teams response time and customer service will improve considerably as a result of this functionality.
