April O’Neil Joins Altec as Director of Channel Sales

Laguna Hills, CA – October 9, 2009 – Altec Products, Inc., a leading provider of integrated document management and workflow solution to small- to mid-market companies, announces the appointment of April O’Neil to a newly created position, Director of Channel Sales.

In this new position, April will lead the Business Development department to drive Altec’s overall channel sales efforts, including the further development and expansion of the PARTNERassist program with Altec’s VAR partners.

“With the tremendous response we’ve been getting from partners on doc-link, we needed a champion to help us maximize our developing network and build out our PARTNERassist program to help arm them with the marketing assistance and tools they need to win each opportunity. In addition, we needed someone who would be able to help us extend our reach through our existing strategic partnerships and develop programs through new channels,” stated Brandt Morrell, President and COO of Altec.

April joined Altec originally in 1997 as a Regional Forms Account Manager and her strong sales results and management abilities led to her promotion to Manager, Technology Division where she directed the MICR printing solution, Altec’s fastest growth product line at the time. In late 2000, April joined Sage Software where she was instrumental in directing Sage’s Mid-Market Division Lead Development Program (launching the sales cycle to partners). In 2005, April left Sage to help build Alliance Engineering Group, a company started by her husband, Rob.  Her experiences and proven track record in document management, lead management and channel program are tremendous assets that will be put to excellent use in expanding doc-link through Altec’s partner channel.
