HUNTINGTON HOSPITALITY GROUP INCREASES EFFICIENCIES IN ACCOUNTS PAYABLES WITH DOC-LINK™ INTEGRATED DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT WITH BEST MAS500

Laguna Hills, Calif., September 27, 2004 - Altec, a leading provider of document imaging and workflow management solutions for mid-market, announced today that Huntington Hospitality Group chose doc-link with Best MAS500 to streamline accounts payables. Huntington Hospitality Group’s accountants strive to provide accurate financial tools to the hospitality industry, using the latest technology and centralized cost efficiencies.

With over thirty-five remote locations, Huntington Hospitality Group needed to centralize payables processing. They also desired to eliminate the exorbitant courier costs between the offices, eliminate photocopies and the related expenses, and reduce the off-site storage costs – all of which will be resolved with the purchase of doc-link. With doc-link integrated document management, vendor invoices will be scanned at each location using scan-link, and then batch transferred to the doc-link server at the corporate office in Texas. The documents will then be processed for workflow and sent to the approvers for review.

The new electronic workflow which doc-link provides will reduce courier and postage costs drastically, while increasing remote approvers’ productivity by minimizing the time spent manually approving documentation. With doc-link’s GL Distribution Stamp, remote approvers can select from a drop down list of GL expense codes and their related description for proper expense allocation. Through doc-link imaging and workflow, Huntington Hospitality will achieve a return on investment within five months.
