ALTEC RELEASES BUNDLED EDITIONS OF ENTERPRISE DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR EPICOR SOFTWARE CORPORATION

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., March 22, 2007 - Altec, Inc., the leader in document management software integrated to mid-market financial software, released Epicor branded editions of their software doc-link – now available exclusively through the Epicor sales organization.  Doc-link is a fully integrated, scalable, and affordable document management solution that interfaces with Epicor’s Enterprise and iScala suites of applications.  Combining best practices, state-of-the-art technology, and sound implementation methods into an affordable package has made doc-link the choice among financial accounting software users.

The Standard Edition provides the doc-link repository for automatically capturing a rich array of output documents from Epicor Enterprise and Epicor iScala General Ledger and other sub-ledger modules. Users can retrieve, view, email, fax or print documents. This solution provides the ability to automatically capture other application generated documents and reports and is fully scalable to the Enterprise Edition.

The Professional Edition adds to the Standard solution by providing scanning and advanced indexing tools to capture external documents into the doc-link repository.  Linking internal and external documents provides greater productivity in processing and researching transactions while eliminating costs associated with procurement, storage and movement of paper throughout the enterprise.

The Advanced Edition is seamlessly integrated to the Epicor Enterprise and iScala solutions, providing for streamlined accounts payable processing.  This solution provides all the functionality of the Professional Edition but provides a quantum jump in productivity gains by significantly reducing paper bottlenecks prior to processing transactions. With included workflow capabilities, the handling and approval of vendor invoices is streamlined and most manual processes are automated.

The Enterprise Edition contains all the features of the Advanced Edition and is fully-configurable to emulate current business practices or can be used to streamline new processes.  Combining best practices, state-of-the-art technology, and sound implementation methods into an affordable package has made doc-link the choice among financial accounting software users.
