Altec Announces a Co-Marketing Alliance with Best Software®
to Offer doc-link™ Integrated Document Management and Print
Solutions to Users of MAS 500 and Platinum for Windows by Best

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., March 5, 2005 - Altec, a leading provider of Integrated Document Management (IDM) solutions, today announced the continuation of their marketing alliance with Best Software to market, promote and distribute an integrated version of its doc-link TM software, business forms and MICR checks solutions to users of MAS 500 and Platinum for Windows by Best (PFW). Doc-link manages the capture, workflow, archiving, and distribution of business documents and is an ideal complement to MAS 500 and PFW financial accounting software. The deal allows for doc-link to be distributed through Best Software's business partner channel, and allows business partners to work directly with Altec in offering document management solutions to customers.
