DocLink, Training

Our First International DocLink Advanced Admin Training Was a Success!

Altec hosted its first ever international Advanced Admin Training (AAT) last week in Toronto, Canada and the classroom was packed with local DocLink power users!  Hosted at Altec customer Veridian Corporation’s headquarters, our Toronto AAT was a four-day intensive training session focused on helping attendees get the most out of their DocLink solution.  The week included lectures, real-life examples, and hands-on labs led by Altec’s own Cathy Champlin, Customer Support Manager and John Claiborne, Senior Consultant.

Customers were instructed on the many powerful facets of DocLink including ERM capture, import and output managers, auditing, security and workflow, and much more.  As always, the feedback from attendees was stellar – customers commented that the event was very well-planned and organized.  Attendees not only received excellent training but loved connecting with other participants, hearing how they used DocLink, and learning from their experiences.

But it wasn’t all work and no play!  On Monday evening, many in the group hit up a local restaurant, Shoeless Joe’s, for great food, drinks and conversation.  Additionally, the Ice Cream Truck Time Machine showed up Tuesday to provide attendees with some awesome treats.

Lori Corbino, Customer Care Manager, commented, “Customers who attend AAT learn a lot from the sessions, but get even more from the interactions with each other, the pain points they are each working through, and ways DocLink has helped them.  This first AAT in Canada is another demonstration of our initiative to offer events in our customers’ backyards, making it easier for them to attend and we had a great group participate.”

Corbino continued, “And I’d like to send a giant thank you to our customer Veridian for providing us with our meeting space for the week, they were amazing hosts!”

Altec is hosting two final AAT training sessions this year in Southern California – September 17-20 and November 5-8 – so if you are interested in attending, register here.
