Integrated Document Management Division

With our rapidly growing reseller, customer and OEM base, as well as the increasing popularity of document imaging, Altec is growing rapidly and managing it's growth through the recruitment of quality Sales and Professional Service applicants for our Orange County corporate office.

IDM Regional Sales Manager

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated sales professionals to market our complete suite of IDM solutions to users of Microsoft Great Plains, Epicor, Sage and SAP financial accounting software packages.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage existing VARs
• Recruit new VARs
• Assist VARs as they sell doc-link solutions to end users
• Organize and attend workshops and trade shows
• Interact with CFOs, IT Directors and Account Managers effectively
• Grow your regional sales territory

Qualifications:

• Extremely PC literate
• Experienced in sales of hardware or software
• Business-oriented with a passion for sales
• Fast learner and ambitious; highly motivated
• Experience with accounting or ERP applications a plus

Customer Service Analyst – Software Implementation

We need strong, service orientated individuals to add to an existing team of Consultants and Analysts in our corporate offices located in Orange County, CA.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, architect and deliver high quality billable product-related services to customers and business partners in the areas of application installation and integration.
• Consult with clients to analyze and understand functions to be automated, client needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.
• Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
• Trains end users, administrators, and technical support staff.
• Complete time and cost reporting on all projects by the required deadlines.

Experience necessary:

• Hands-on experience / knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL scripting
• Strong verbal communication skills, including tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive customer issues, with exceptional follow-through ability and communication skills.
• A BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred from a Tier 1 institution.
• Hands-on experience with one or more network and routing protocols
• Working knowledge of Citrix or Terminal Services
• Hands-on experience with Applications a major plus (technical level) (Epicor, Great Plains, MAS500, SAP Business One, Solomon)
• Must be willing to travel 50%
• Professional Certifications desired (SQL, Microsoft, Cisco, Network+, or Novell)

Print Division

Inside Sales Representative

Altec, in its Laguna Hills location, has an immediate opening for enthusiastic, self-motivated Telesales Representatives to sell a wide range of software compatible business forms, as well as other printed products. Opportunities for advancement may include selling IDM software solutions through the telesales, and sales management.

Responsibilities include:

• Achievement of monthly sales quotas through customer retention, penetration and acquisition sales strategies
• Selling a wide array of print products to an established customer base
• Prospecting for software sales opportunities for Altec’s document imaging suite of products
• Organize and attend workshops and trade shows
• Interact with CFOs, IT Directors and Account Managers effectively
• Grow your regional sales territory

The ideal candidate will have 2 - 3 years Telesales experience, is proficient in Microsoft Office, experienced in working with contact management software, is detail oriented, well organized and excels in a team environment.
